one of our hokkien-speaking directors here speaks broken english with a thick local accent. we were meeting with our vendors, comprising the MD who is local chinese, together with his team of a foreign indian, a spaniard and an african american.......
Indian: what are your expectations when it comes to the system's landscape?

Some of you would know, i have this allergy to prawns.
OK, not just prawns, but lobsters and crayfish too.
Did i hear someone asking "then crab leh?"
No, not allergic to crabs but i try not to take too much.
The allergic reaction i get from eating prawns would be that of nausea, and in some cases, i would go all the way and throw up all my food. But usually not to that extent lah. Cos throwing up would usually be when i unknowingly ate a big chunk and the body screams "heh ah, heh ah" and wwwwweeeeeehhhhh, i would do a merlion soon after.
I dun usually like to...... brag about my allergy because once, my colleague and boss from one of my previous jobs, learnt that i have this allergic reaction and they wanted to witness it for themselves so brought me to eat popiah which they knew had prawn in the vege. They laughed in glee when i told them i had to stop eating cos i suspect the popiah got prawns. When they stopped laughing, they apologised and said curiousity got the better of them and they wanted to see how prawns affected me. Dunno why they bother apologising when the act was deliberately cruel.
I digress.
Lunch time today, went to 313 for lunch and ordered yong tau hoo. Ate 90% of my lunch and had to abruptly stop eating cos of sudden nausea.
Still feeling pukey now. I wonder which item was it. Oh well, not gonna eat from that stall ever again....... cos the soup may also be tainted with prawn. |

I think the only thing i would look forward to is the carb loading x2. So should i ever join a marathon, i would carb load - excuse myself from the race - carb load. That would be heavenly.
But seriously....... JIA YOU to all participants reading this........ to celebrate, i may join you after the race for carb loading :x |

Yes, badminton got many patterns, or moves. You can move forward in an attack, or backwards in defence, jump, dive, forehand, backhand, drop, smash and what have you. They use badminton because it has lots of varied actions and it rhymes with pattern........ well, almost. |

The cough syrup also causes drowsiness.
Every night when i consume both in the kitchen, i worry that i cannot make it back to the bedroom. |

Last month, i reported that my weight was slowly creeping up.
Since last month, i have dropped about half a kilo.
Noticed that my appetite comes in waves. There will be a week where i dun feel hungry, then one fine day, i will suddenly get hunger pangs and eat more than normal.
I also noticed that nowadays, even when i go for buffets, i dun put on much weight thereafter. On some occasions, it even seem like the waistline shrunk a few days following the buffet. How cool is that?
But no lah, i not pushing my luck. Pls dun jio me for buffets unless necessary :P |

Started feeling sick on saturday, and come sunday, had a runny nose and slept the entire day.
Fortunately supper was cancelled cos i was so out of it that i was sure i wouldn't have been good company.
Despite resting the entire sunday, woke up this morning feeling sick and lethargic. Went to see doctor and was given 2 days' MC. Again, slept the entire day today.
I probably can return to work tomo, but i may not. Work so hard for what. |

Argh...... i prepared a spreadsheet 2 days ago. It was quite a complex spreadsheet with multiple levels of vlookup etc.
Now when they want to formalise the procedure for generating the spreadsheet, my mind is a blank and i cannot figure out how i did it.
BLEAH.
So frustrating. |
